Welcome to Serres
The idyllic little village of Serres does not even have a hundred souls on the clock. It is characterized by the diversity of its landscapes.
First of all, and obviously, the vines which are located in the Blanquette appellation with an excellent chardonnay.
Then a forest dominated by the Cardou at 795 meters above sea level,
Then a 15th century castle, a 10th century church and a pretty bridge from the 17th century completely renovated.
Without forgetting, the Rialsesse, the river which runs at the edge of the village where passers-by flock to picnic, play pétanque, bathe or even stay in camper vans.
The hike "the Cardou tour" starts from Serres. This route of about 8 kilometers represents an average of 4 hours of walking.
